The Georgia Conference on Children and Families
October 25-27, 2017
Together Georgia’s director Ron Scroggy signed each email with the tagline, “Be a Hopegiver.” It’s been his mantra for many years during his tenure in child welfare. The Division of Family and Children Services also is focused on hope. Casey Family Programs helped DFCS develop, pilot, and roll out the Community of Hope campaign. We believe in the power of hope. Together we can create hope for the children and families we serve.
Glen Ward will open the 2017 Georgia Conference on Children and Families with a message of hope. Caregivers especially need reprieve from the intense work they field each day and encouragement in the power of hope.
Glen is a professional humorist and inspirational speaker. His engagements take him all across America addressing corporations; national, regional, and state associations; government agencies; chambers of commerce; schools; civic organizations; and churches.
His wholesome humor involves hilariously accurate impersonations of well-known political and musical celebrities. He also entertains his audiences with stories and life lessons learned from his experiences growing up. He will tailor his message this year to our audience and The Power of Hope.
