GCCF Conference Watch - October 18, 2011  - Time to Connect

This is the first year in many years that the conference has been scheduled this close to the Atlanta area.  The advantages for many attendees will be decreased travel time and expense. Although the conference will be closer to home for many, we encourage you to unplug from your daily demands and enjoy the opportunity to connect with your network of peers.

 The Marietta Conference Center’s hilltop setting in historic Marietta is a pleasant surprise to the first time visitor. Surrounded by lavish English gardens, you can forget your commute for a couple of days and enjoy the views overlooking the pristine hills of the City Club Golf Course. If inclined, you also can find time for the fitness center, pool or Jacuzzi.  Most of all there will be time to enjoy an evening with those who share your passion for serving Georgia’s children and families – inspiration comes in many ways at the GCCF, much of which is simply by hearing about the good work that providers are delivering to Georgia’s children and families.
